Schoolworks is priced based on which modules you require, and the number of users who require access to support.
If you choose to nominate one user for support access; then your support costs will be considerably less.
There are two types of purchase options to suit your requirements:
Purchase
Our perpetual purchase option gives you a licence to use Schoolworks indefinitely (within the licence terms). You may then purchase annual maintenance and support options to keep your version of Schoolworks up to date, and to have access to email, telephone and internet support.
Updates and fixes are covered for one year from date of purchase. Further support requires the purchase of the maintenance option below.
Annual Subscription Licence
Instead of an perpetual licence purchase you may prefer to purchase an annual subscription licence. An annual licence allows the use of Schoolworks for one year. Apart from an initial setup and installation fee, you pay monthly or quarterly for ongoing use. This subscription includes updates and support for the period. Within the first year, users may convert their annual licence to an outright purchase with the total paid contributing a maximum 60% of the purchase option price.
Maintenance
Our software maintenance option keeps your Schoolworks software up to date with bug fixes and enhancements. It is purchased annually and covers Schoolworks versions up to one year old. Older versions than this must be retrospectively upgraded in multiples of the maintenance years not paid for.
Support
We offer three levels of support: general help, training and technical support. General help and training relate to the operational aspects of Schoolworks, and technical support is based on hardware, operating system, connectivity and configuration issues.
We offer this support via email, telephone/remote desktop or on-site. General help is included in your maintenance fee and is limited to simple problems or bugs, training and technical support are chargeable at very competitive prices.
